Sunday 15th June is Father’s Day in the United Kingdom! Here at Angels, we will be celebrating all of the positive male role-models and father figures in our lives.
There are a lot of traditional ways to celebrate Father’s Day, from buying cards and gifts to going out for a celebratory dinner. However, we believe that the best way to celebrate is to spend time appreciating those that you love! If possible, spend time together building gratitude for all the positive impacts you have on each others lives.
For young children, it is also a good time to not only talk about gratitude, but also about family in general! This can be anything, from simply talking about your family unit and what that means, or even exploring your family trees together. This can be a fun way to not only teach your child more about themselves and their history, but also helps them understand the way the world around them works!
However you choose to celebrate, remember to appreciate those who have a positive impact on your or your little one’s lives. From all of us at Angels, we wish you a Happy Father’s Day!
